• Users are presented with the same consistent user interface irrespective of their working location. There is therefore no need for re-training or familiarisation when personnel move between locations.
• All personal communication (including email, personal fax and voice mail ) can be accessed through a single in-tray. This eliminates the need to check multiple locations for messages in different formats and allows users to respond to urgent communication more promptly. The approach also eliminates the location-dependency inherent within paper-based fax machines.
• OfficeVenue provides an IT solution closely coupled to the Voice over IP telephony infrastructure. Telephony is therefore controlled from OfficeVenue eliminating the need to remember telephone keying sequences.
• OfficeVenue is designed to support a distributed workforce even where only relatively slow speed telecommunications connections are available (ISDN). OfficeVenue maximises personal effectiveness under these circumstances. C
