Accessibility statement
Cygnet Solutions Limited is committed to producing websites that can be used by everyone. This page describes some of the accessibility features on this site.
Conformance
[www.w3.org]
We aim to conform, at least, to the
W3C's
Content Accessibility Guidelines[www.w3.org] Double-A standard. We have tested this against the
Bobby[bobby.watchfire.com]
website accessibility software.
Text Size
The pages have been designed to allow you to change the size of the text on the page if your Web browser allows it (most do). All areas of this site use only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified 'text size' option in visual browsers.
Please note: Currently the top navigation area of each page cannot be resized if you’re viewing this site within Microsoft Internet Explorer. We are working to correct this.
Access keys
In many web browsers you can press ‘Access keys’ to quickly jump to areas of the website. We use the following access keys:
- 0
- This Accessibility Statement
- S
- Skip to content, past the navigation links
- 1
- Home page
- 4
- Site search
- 5
- ‘About us’ page
- 8
- Privacy policy
- 9
- Contact page/feedback form
The exact key-press will depend upon your Web browser. For example, on Microsoft Windows, you must hold the Alt key as you press the access key; on Apple Macintosh browsers, you must hold the Ctrl key as you press the access key.
Links & Images
Links have title attributes that describe the link in greater detail,
unless the text of the link already fully describes the target.
All content images include descriptive alt attributes. Purely decorative graphics include
empty alt attributes.
Visual Design
This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. These have been checked against the W3C CSS standard. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets the content of each page is still readable. C
